Gav: 'Howdy all, we're blogging from Koh Tao off the central pennisula of Thailand. Weather is tremendous, was a bit rainy when we arrived but all good now. Everythings dirt cheap and all transport 20 years old and rickerty! But the people are really friendly and smiley which more than makes up for its transport!! we've met some cool people from all over and are heading off tomorrow for Koh Phangan for a few days then off to Samui at the beginning of next month for a few beers with my bro and a few of his mates (liver transplant may be required) We are going to put some piccies on soon so keep posted. We just did a SCUBA diving course and are getting into the old snorkelling. Keep emailing us people, we are only a click away!!!!'

Nice to hear from you Gav, sounds like you have having a ball out there. All is OK back at the ranch and we have just had two very rainy days here. I think summer must be over, for us.Did you pass the diving course? Spoke to your pal over the fence today and he is very envious about your adventure.Also very touched to receive a card from you and Sue.Love from Sue's folks.

Hey Bro and Sue,
Ten days now and counting until we meet up. Alex has arrived and is in Beijing at the moment. Bad news Chinese David, can't join us on our jaunt, his passport is with the Dutch Embassy in Shanghai where he is applying for a visa and won't get it back in time to get his Thai visa; not to worry it just means one less person in the round. Sounds like you two are having a great time. I've sent my liver off for a quiet weekend on a health farm to prepare it for next week's tomfoolery. I suppose everyday is like a saturday for two at the moment. Looking forward to seeing you, if you get to Koh Samui before me check out the shop 10m outside the airport on the left hand side, won't tell you what it is but its a great shop. If you do get there before me let me know where you are staying, i haven't booked any accomodation yet, Al's resort say they are full but i am going to try again this week. Ok it 34 deg C at the moment and i on my way to Ningbo to spend the weekend watching hair dryers being made. Life in the fast lane hey!!! Take care and see you both soon.

Looks like your having a ball! How did the scuba diving course go? How was the craziest place on earth ( bangok! )?
You don't know what your missing back here people, constant rain, whining, planes being blown out of the sky, ( be afraid people! ) and just as big brother has finished, roll on for x factor! God I love this country.
Like the pic of Gav, truly in his element playing the guitar under a hut surrounded by palm trees. lol. Legend!
