Swimming with the Dolphins!

Sue: Reading the last blog, I think Gav may be feeling a bit grumpy with his man flu at the moment!!!!
We had a brilliant day out with the dolphins. It was really cheap at 20 quid too! They picked us up from our hotel, then jumped onto a ferry, and then continued in the minibus for approx 1 hour, had a free lunch and had an hour with the dolphins in the pool and then a show afterwards. Great value for money!!!
Ok I admit there are bound to be better places to do this, but it was a good taster for things to come!
They had the dolphins, jumping out of the water in front of us for various tricks such as :
To catch a fish from our hands & from a big fishing rod high above the water, shake our hands with their fin, dancing in a circle when we sang to them, kissing our cheeks, jumping through hoops! It was such good fun!
I agree with Gav though the spitting from the dolphins was funny at first, but then it wasnt aftr the 100th time!!
Swimming with them was great too, I was amazed how strong they were when they pulled you through the water and then they swam faster again when they were chasing fish the trainers had thrown in to catch!
I must admit the pool wasnt very clean, both apart from that they seemed to be well looked after.
We both have the sniffles at the moment but I reckon it was worth it for the experience and would love to do more swimming with them in Australia!
