Maybe these answers are too late but we thought we would post the answers anyway. The 2 animals that can't walk backwards are the kangaroo and the emu. As for where the kangaroo got their name, when the europeans came to Australia and asked the natives what they were, they responded with "kangaroo" which means "I dont understand", therefore the dumb europeans thought that was their name. ok, ive gone on as long as Gav does... Whats the prize???? Anon
